Сегодня мы попробуем сделать ссылку из div блока. Зачем это нужно? Пускай этот вопрос останется открытым. Я лишь замечу, что эту технологию уже широко применяют, способ этот валиден и очень прост. Итак, конструкция нашего блока такова:

Это редактор чистит Ваш код. По-хорошему нужно его настраивать, дабы он код не тер.
Но тогда и весь мусор тоже будет сохраняться особенно из word.
Можно схитрить, переключится в режим код, вставить ваш код и сохранить. Тогда он сохранит как есть.

У меня этот блок хеадер, с background(ом)в CSS, ввел все как у вас написано через(блокнот) и он не переходит((

И если вы собираетесь текст для CSS писать в сам CSS документ, то пригодится только часть строки:

Буду признателен за ответ. Сделал 4 div-ссылки, поместил их в другой div побольше. Контейнер смещается вниз и портит всю картину. Подскажите в чем проблема?

Я вам сначала задам встречный вопрос – Зачем вам это нужно? То есть для чего вы это будете использовать, какое решение вы ищите? Может картинка макета приложите что вам нужно реализовать.
Просто конструкция странная у вас получается: внутри ссылки div, картинки. текст и еще и ссылки (это ссылка внутри ссылки?? я так понял? в некоторых ситуациях такое возможно конечно.).
А если просто ответить на вопрос, то да, такое вполне может работать так, как вы захотите.

Так же можно задать еще CSS – изменить курсор на руку (как при наведении на ссылку).

Секрет
Теперь, когда вы уже наверняка второпях отправили свой запрос,
я расскажу вам простой секрет, который сэкономит вам уйму ожиданий,
даже если первый ответ по теме последуем сразу же.
Само собой я знаю что ответят мне тут же, и если я посмотрю
на сообщения на форуме, то пойму что в общем то я и не ошибаюсь.
Но еще я точно замечу, что очень мало тем, в которых всего два ответа :
вопрос автора и еще два сообщение вида Ответ + Спасибо
После этого приходится начинать уточнять этим неграмотным что мне надо.
Они что, сами читать не умеют? А уточнять приходится.
И иногда пока они переварят то что я им скажу проходит и не одна ночь..
Уверен что если бы я им сказал что у меня есть
фиолетовый квадрат, и нужно превратить его в синий треугольник
и я пытался взять кисточку, макнуть в банку и поводить ей по квадрату
но почему то кисточка не принимала цвет краски в банке,
то на мой вопрос – где взять правильные банки мне бы ответили гораздо быстрее
предложив её открыть, а не тратить еще стольник на жестянку.
Поэтому с тех пор я строю свои вопросы по проверенной давным давно схеме:
